Clearance Survey in Arthur Kill after Barge Explosion at Port Mobil Facility on Staten Island, NY

SCOPE

Two sonar surveys were conducted to locate and classify debris types from a barge explosion at the oil refinery. The first survey was conducted after the accident and the follow survey was conducted after dredging of debris was completed. All data was later submitted to the U.S. Coast Guard (2003).
