Remote Sensing Survey for Debris and Obstructions, Indiana Harbor, Lake Michigan, East Chicago, Indiana.

SCOPE

A magnetic and acoustic remote sensing survey was conducted in Indiana Harbor, Indiana. Remote sensing data were collected in the canal, the approach channel, anchorage, and maneuvering basin. The goal of the investigation was to identify site conditions, anomalies, and obstructions in the canal and canal entrance bottom in conjunction with a planned dredging of the harbor.
