Phase 1 & 2 Underwater Archaeological Project, Roosevelt Inlet ShipwreckDeleware Bay, Lewes, DE
CLIENTU.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District PROJECTRoosevelt Inlet Shipwreck Project, Delaware Bay, Delaware SCOPEA Phase I & II-level underwater archaeological project was conducted at the site of a mid-18th century British merchant vessel. Magnetic, acoustic and sub-bottom data were used to locate the site during the Phase 1 project. Excavations and site mapping were conducted during the Phase 2 investigation. Several hundred significant items were recovered during the project, including two large mill stones from the site. CONTACT
